Attorney Jonathan Newman graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in business; and is a cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac College School of Law (now known as Quinnipiac University School of Law). In law school, he was a member of the Law Review and a recipient of several academic awards, including the Academic Achievement Award and the Jurisprudence Award in Contracts and Property.
Attorney Newman has been licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut for 23 years concentrating on personal injury matters and criminal defense. Prior to Jazlowiecki & Jazlowiecki, Attorney Newman was employed with the State of Connecticut, as a Supervisory Assistant public defender representing indigent criminal defendants. Throughout his career, Attorney Newman has handled personal injury matters for plaintiffs including motor vehicle accidents, involving severe injuries, traumatic personal injury accidents, slip and falls as well as workers’ compensation matters; providing competent and zealous representation to his clients in order to achieve the most favorable results and obtain the maximum outcomes on their behalf.
Attorney Newman represents his clients with this philosophy “that it is important to treat each client with respect and dignity without judgment” and “represent each individual client similar to how I would want to be represented.”
In his free time, Attorney Newman enjoys the outdoors, exercising, fishing, reading and spending quality time with his wife and four children in Connecticut.
